On May 8th, Clarivate released the latest statistical data for the Essential Science Indicators (ESI), covering the period from January 1st , 2015 to February 28th , 2025. Since Engineering discipline in HFU entered the top 1% of ESI in September 2023, its overall ranking has shown a significant improvement, advancing by 263 places. Additionally, HFU currently boasts a total of 14 ESI highly cited papers.

In recent years, HFU has focused on discipline construction, aiming to enhance its status as a doctoral degree-granting institution and cultivate high-level disciplines. By strengthening faculty development, research capabilities, talent training, and academic reputation, the university has significantly enhanced the core competitiveness of its disciplines and improved its overall educational strength, providing strong support for its continuous progress towards becoming a high-level application-oriented university.
